Your state and your board
Does HourSign tell me if I qualify for my license?
No. HourSign never decides eligibility. It adds up what you logged, compares it with the rule set for your state, and shows warnings with the rule and a link to the source. Your board decides.
Which states are supported?
Oregon, Washington and Florida have researched rule sets today. For any other state you can use a custom tracker, where you enter the numbers yourself. A custom tracker is marked as not verified everywhere it appears.
Is the electronic signature accepted by my board?
It depends on the state, and HourSign says so plainly on each state page. Florida allows electronic signatures on its supervision log. For Oregon and Washington, HourSign prints a record for a handwritten signature and makes no electronic-signature claim.
Signed records and your data
What stops someone editing hours after they are signed?
Signing freezes the content and stores a SHA-256 fingerprint of it. Signed records are locked in the database and cannot be edited by you, your supervisor or us. A correction is a new amendment that links to the original.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, always. Export as PDF and CSV is free during the trial, while you pay, after you cancel and after a trial ends.
Can I record client names or session notes?
No. There is no field for client names and you should never type any. HourSign records hours, dates, sites, categories and supervisors only.
Price
How much does it cost and can I try it?
It is $29 a year, about Rs 2,783, with a 30-day free trial and no card to start. Payments are not live yet, so everything you use today is free.
Does my supervisor have to pay?
No. Supervisors are free and are never shown a price.
What happens if I stop paying?
You go back to the free tier. You can still log hours, edit them and export them as CSV, and everything already signed stays readable and downloadable. What stops is sending new periods for signature, board-form PDFs, the full export bundle and the proof pack, until you pay again.
